Europiren offers MagPro®, a high active magnesium oxide (MgO) which is used in rubber compounding as a scorch retarder and acid acceptor. Based in Rotterdam (NL), Europiren is the sales and distribution company of the Brucite+ Group. The company started with the production of brucite in 2005 and has since been growing fast. To replace all toxic halogenated flame retardants and synthetically produce flame retardants, the company’s first intended application area of brucite was for flame retardants in polymers. Building on that legacy, in 2018, Europiren started the production of MagPro®, a high active magnesium oxide (MgO) used in rubber compounding as a scorch retarder and acid acceptor.
